FIRE RISK ASSESSMENT AND COMPLETE FIRE ALARM SOLUTIONS BY GTS SECURITY

Given that our homes and workplaces are full of combustible materials, such as furniture, paper, packaging, heating fuel and a multitude of ignition sources (electrical equipment, cooking appliances, matches, hot processes) the potential for fires to occur is high.

And sadly the outcome of property fires devastates lives and businesses alike… “A fire can take away a lifetime in seconds”.

GTS Security understands the nature of fire and can help you choose the right system for your premises. Experienced engineers will work with you to assess your risks and then install a system that will provide the vital seconds you need to safely evacuate people and minimise the impact of the fire on your home or business. Most insurance companies stipulate that business premises install fire alarm systems and GTS Security install two different types, Conventional and Addressable.

CONVENTIONAL FIRE ALARM SYSTEMS

These systems split your property into different areas around the premises from 2-8 zones. When a smoke, heat, carbon monoxide (CO) detector or call point has been activated, the conventional panel will sound the fire alarms and flag up the area of activation on the control panel.

ADDRESSABLE FIRE ALARM SYSTEMS

The addressable fire alarm system is much more sophisticated and precise than the conventional system; with the ability to not only identify the area of activation, but the exact point and detector. As each detector has its own unique number, your addressable control panel will state the device and area. This facility saves crucial time for the Fire Brigade, reducing damage to property and danger to lives.

WIRELESS FIRE ALARM SYSTEMS

Where cables may be a problem, GTS Security offers wireless fire alarms.

All systems stay constantly alert to the danger of fire, giving you the peace of mind to carry on with your life.

DISCLAIMER: please be aware that in addition to fitting a fire alarm system, it is vital that you undertake a risk assessment and make sure everyone knows what to do in case of an emergency
